How Attorney Match works
Attorney Match is a free directory of attorneys. Searching it costs nothing and needs no account.
1. Pick your state
Start at the directory and choose the state your matter is in. Not sure what kind of lawyer you need? Legal help answers cover common problems in plain English.
2. Narrow by practice area or city
Each state page lists attorneys by case type and by city.
3. Read the profile and reach out
A profile shows practice areas, cities served, fee structures, and the listing’s public source where we have them. Where an attorney lists an email, you can draft a free intro email from the profile and send it from your own address.
How we’re different
- Ranking is never for sale. Attorneys pay nothing for placement: no placement fees, no per-lead sales, no “premium profile” bump.
- No spam. We never pass your details to attorneys and never sell your information. You decide who to contact.
- Real, verifiable listings. Profiles show the licensing state, the bar number where available, and the listing’s public source, so you can verify it yourself.
